Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, hardware engineers, mechanical engineers, and quality assurance professionals to define integration strategies and requirements.

  • Design, implement, and execute integration plans for automotive systems, subsystems, and components, ensuring their compatibility and functionality.

  • Develop and maintain integration test plans, procedures, and scripts to validate system-level functionality and performance.

  • Identify and troubleshoot integration issues, coordinating with relevant teams to diagnose and resolve problems in a timely manner.

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of system logs, diagnostic data, and test results to identify root causes of integration failures and propose effective solutions.

  • Utilize tools and frameworks for continuous integration and automated testing to streamline the integration process and enhance efficiency.

  • Collaborate with suppliers and external partners to integrate third-party components and technologies into our automotive systems.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, ensuring their understanding of integration processes and best practices.

  • Contribute to the development and improvement of integration methodologies, tools, and standards, staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.

  • Participate in design reviews and brainstorming sessions to provide input on system architecture, design, and integration feasibility.

  • Assist in the validation and verification of integrated systems through rigorous testing, simulations, and real-world scenarios.

  • Document integration processes, procedures, and results in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

  • 1-2 years in integration engineering roles within the automotive or related industry.

  • Strong understanding of automotive systems, components, and subsystems, along with their interdependencies.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or Java for scripting and test automation.

  • Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and diagnostics tools.

  • Experience with integration and version control tools (Git, Jenkins, JIRA) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and disciplines.

  • Knowledge of automotive safety standards (ISO 26262) and cybersecurity principles is a plus.

  • Experience with model-based development tools (MATLAB/Simulink) is desirable.

  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements and tight deadlines.

  • Korean bilingual preferred.

Addition:

  • Have to work in Novi, MI, in the beginning for three months.
