Position:
The primary objective of the Project Manager is to support Customer Care Product Liability operation program management activities including risk management, project management, technical product review, plan creation, resource planning, day-to-day operations and project status monitoring & reporting. The goal of the Project Manager is to lead various projects and support initiatives on-time, in-scope in a time sensitive environment. To achieve the highest project performance, the person in this position is expected to maintain effective and timely communication with key stakeholders and leaders within the department and cross-department where applicable. Must have a sense of urgency.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with team members in Customer Care to provide reporting and analysis on initiatives Generate daily/weekly/monthly reports, with analysis and recommendations Manage 4-7 ongoing and ad-hoc projects that may include managing KPIs and Metrics Ensure that all projects have required documentation as they move through the project tollgates Collaborate with project/program developers and business leads to keep project in scope Communicate to Product Liability leadership on project status and escalation/decision points, as needed New product launching risk management related specifically to product liability Works cross functionally with HQ teams in Korea, Product Liability and operations to manage risk
Qualifications:
3-5 years of hands-on project management and operations within a complex global organization Advanced skill in MS, Excel and PPT Technical education or product engineering or troubleshooting experience Proven capability to analyze data and develop a course of action Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and drive to resolution Process, procedure, strategic planning and project development experience Experience working with and influencing cross-functional teams. Experience communicating with mid to top-level leaders (status reports, emails, presentations) Experience working in a complex, deep organization and department PMP certification and Six Sigma certification a plus Takes project ownership and possess leadership qualities with an entrepreneurial approach Previous experience in mobile or consumer electronics preferred but not necessary Experience working within the wireless and home appliance industry a plus Experience with product development or testing a plus Bilingual English and Korean required
