Summary:

The main function of a product specialist is to be the subject matter expert on a product through its development. The typical product specialist will provide technical advice to customers concerning their product

Inventory Optimization:

•       Provide analysis on current spare parts inventory and propose actionable for inventory optimization
•       Identify abnormal PO trend and provide insights to improve ordering pattern
•       Report improvement status to upper management and HQ on regular basis

Backorder Management:

•       Provide solutions to reduce customer backorder through sourcing for alternatives
•       Improvement on forecast accuracy in the region through strong understanding of systems and forecasting methods
•       Analysis on past year demand trends and provide new initiatives to improve on backorder reduction
•       Act as the bridge between vendors and subsidiaries for smooth parts supply and urgent production support
•       Ensure all subsidiaries are well stocked with correct spare parts for new product launch

Skills and Qualifications

•       High school diploma or GED plus 3 years in production, Associate Degree is preferred.
•       Preferred Minimum 1-3 years of related demand planning experience
•       Strong in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, experience with macro is a plus
•       Prior experience in analyzing operational performance data and communicating actionable insights to subsidiaries and management
•       Proven track record of developing and implementing plans to achieve business goals with clear and measureable metrics
•       Experience with leading projects remotely with members located in different countries is a plus
•       Experience with data visualization tools (ex. Tableau) and SAP is a plus

Education: High school diploma or GED plus 3 years in production
