DESIGN RELEASE ENGINEER
This is an exciting, collaborative and highly impactful role that will be responsible for developing new technology in the area of designing and releasing components.
The successful candidate will be working on infotainment products such as Radio, Telematics, Cluster, Wireless Charger, Rear Seat Infotainment system, and Displays.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Required to sit on-site and work directly with customer engineering team on design release plan
- Responsible for issuing and processing Engineering Change Notices to document design revisions
- Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to design and release components
- Responsible for product design and development from prototype phase to production
- Responsible for DVP&R (Design Verification Process and Report) to validate product according to customer requirements
- Responsible for leading DRE Sync Meetings
- Support vehicle builds and launches at customer prototype, pilot or production assembly plants
- Participate in post-test inspection reviews including component analysis
- Evaluate customer information/requirements and review for technical compliance
- Create and document RFQ drawings and support creating technical presentations
- Manage project timeline to achieve project milestones
- Maintain program specific product DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
- Issue investigation, build/test calibrations, support vehicle, builds
- Responsible for updating and providing weekly reports
- Support PDT
- Provide weekly reports
- Update test vehicles and benches
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science ,Computer Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of working experiences in the area of power electronics, analog/digital circuits, and magnetics, preferably for HEV,PHEV and EV
- At least 2 years' experience in automotive OEM or related experience at Tier 1 or Tier 2 supplier
- Proficient knowledge of MS office MS project, PPT, and Word
- Experience in any of the following infotainment products such as Radio, Telematics, Cluster, Wireless Charger, Rear Seat Infotainment system, and Displays
- Strong Communication skills - Ability to express information in a manner appropriate to different levels of people clearly and effectively

PREFERRED:
- Master degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
- Experience working with Vehicle Spy, DPS Tool and CANoe
- OEM design release experience
- Ability to analyze complex data and report results if data analyst in test report
- Tools Used: Oscilloscopes; Digital oscilloscopes; Mixed signal oscilloscopes; Sampling oscilloscopes; Voltage or current meters - Digital voltmeters DVM, Pulsed current-voltage IV analyze
