Summary:
We are seeking a Data Analyst to develop analytics for the human resources department. Key initiatives for this team include standardizing and automating HR-related dashboards, recurring excel deliverables, and developing new forms of analytics via statistical dives/predictive modeling. The applicant can assist HR leaders by communicating their insights in a clear way. The ideal applicant is inspired to work on an up-and-coming team, demonstrates an ability to learn new skills, and can provide innovative solutions to complex problems.

Responsibilities:
• Analyzes HR data, designing and deploying dashboards, and identifying statistical trends based on that data in the following facets: headcount planning reports for  compensation analysis, recruiting
information, succession planning reports, talent review data and workforce trend dashboards, and more.
• Assists in the development of a holistic HR reporting suite to senior executives within the HR organization.
• Thoughtful in project management and how to break down larger projects into more manageable pieces
• Provide ad-hoc requests as needed for HR professionals and senior HR leaders
• Collaborates with senior HR management, business partners and customers to develop talent insights that inform leaders and confirm human resource decision-making using reports
• Develops key HR metric reports and implementation in a timely manner
• Communicate findings in a coherent fashion to key stakeholders
• Offers creative solutions to automate recurring deliverables and alleviate manual tasks
• Provides quantitative and qualitative data administration and analysis; this includes data mapping, correction, cleansing, importing, and exporting.
 
Recommended Skills
• Data visualization tools like Tableau/PowerBI
• Experience with data preparation and automating data workflows like Alteryx
• Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, namely Excel & Powerpoint, are essential
• Python/R/SQL experience
• Ability to apply statistical and mathematical principles to work as needed
• Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service
• Desire to learn on the job
• Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time
• Workday experience
 
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, data science, statistics, or relevant field required.
  • Years of experience 3-5 preferred
