Role and Responsibilities
 
  • Designing efficient Warehouse/Inventory operations processes
  • Supporting new warehouse setup or warehouse transitions
  • Planning and facilitating Warehouse/Inventory operations process design and workshops
  • Communicating to leadership risks and gaps of current design
  • Documenting business designs for systems changes and implementations
  • Perform detailed analysis to root cause systems and process issues
  • Leading and managing innovation project management activities including phases design through delivery
  • Develop and facilitate cross-functional system test plans and execution in the area of Warehouse/Inventory operations
  • Leading benchmarking assessments and identifying improvement areas of opportunity, present recommendations to leadership
  • Providing expertise for other strategic projects that are Logistics related
  • Be self-motivated, organized, and operate effectively with little direction

Skills and Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree required, science degree highly preferred (Business Information Management, Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management)
  • 10+ years of Logistics Warehouse/Inventory experience (Operations preferred, Consulting experience may be ok)
  • 8+ years of hands on SAP and WMS experience
  • 6+ years of Project Management experience including leading large projects of 10+ people and cross-functional projects
  • Experience with interacting with Supply Chain, Warehouse 3PLs, Logistics Finance teams
  • 6+ years of Data Analysis experience
  • 5+ years of Consumer Electronics and Home Appliance industry experience preferred
  • 2-3 years of Logistics functional knowledge in other areas (inbound, outbound)
 
  • Exceptionally skilled in Microsoft tools (highly skilled in Excel is a must, ideally also skilled in PowerPoint)
  • Skilled in communicating and presenting to executives
  • Experience with planning, organizing, and prioritizing multiple complex assignments and projects and successfully driving them to completion within highly aggressive timelines
  • Able to operate well under pressure
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and to manage progress for multiple activities at once
  • Proven success in a highly dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong organization, communication, problem solving and data analytical skills
  • Demonstrated people and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and execute multiple complex assignments and projects quickly.
  • The ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all appropriate levels within and outside of the company.
  • Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal more than 90 percent of work time.
  • Ability to work additional hours beyond normal schedule as needed to meet project deadlines.
  • Ability to work after hours with other time zones (Asia).
  • Occasional travel to warehouses or other company / service provider locations for meetings; travel estimated at 10~20 percent.
