• Maintain and regularly update a pricing history database
• Perform financial evaluation to assess pricing action effectiveness
• Manage total pricing procedure, enhance processes to make most of efficiencies and ensure timely response to market conditions
• Analyze price change requests from the sales team by evaluating margin impact, potential incremental volume, and competitor price levels
• Analyze inventory performance to determine appropriate metrics that support sellout strategies to increase sales or decrease aging inventories
• Track monthly/quarterly proposed national and account specific promotions in order to forecast total sales deduction (SD) expense for the quarter
• Simulate SD expense for account-specific promotion proposals and determine margin variance for account-specific pricing proposals
• Develop bottoms up sell-in and sell-out forecast targets for new product introductions. Work with category team, product team and channels to finalize GTM sales targets
• Consolidate and publish the weekly financial outlook, translating PSI and unit sales into financial figures to analyze state of the business
• Identify marketing strategies to increase profits and develop measurement tools to identify changing market trends
• Compare sales trends to previous periods and determine the cause for decrease or increase
• Assist in creating promotional campaigns, analyze and report profitability for promotional roadmaps across product categories and channels
