[ Position: Logistics General Site Manager]
Manage all aspects of the company’s operation for ocean/air/trucking, doing so in a manner that meets and exceeds annual and long-term objectives, detailed, and supports the company’s strategic positioning and cultural values. Handling the day-to-day operations of a warehouse. This includes shipping and receiving, returns and transfers, and freight. The general warehouse manager acts as a dispatcher, liaising with transport companies, suppliers, and customers to get the right products to the right people. All warehouse employees report to the general warehouse manager, who assigns them their work schedules and performs their work evaluations
Effectively lead and develop the Process Managers and employees utilizing performance management tools to enhance performance and achieve individual as well as company goals.
Work closely with employees to communicate and educate on work instructions, policies, procedures and process improvement initiatives.
Ensure productivity, safety, and quality goals are achieved through a process of continuous process improvement.
Ensure standardization and sharing of best-demonstrated practices with Operations, Distribution Center and as appropriate across the Distribution Centers.
Monitor cargo pick up/deliver & etc)
Troubleshoot all happenings from booking to cargo delivery with in a timely way
Daily communication with customer/trucker (e-mail, phone)
Make daily cargo delivery status & report it to customer
Recommend when needed changes in current processes
Reporting as needed (Service failure report, claim/damage report, others)
Accuracy of data entry into Cello and other systems as needed
Maintenance SOP/Work Instructions and ensuring operational best practice in line with customer
requirements as well as ensure operational SOP compliance
Maintaining essential account documentation with up to date information and ensuring that it is
collated and stored so as to be readily accessible
Provide process engineering, analytical and project management support to the logistics operation
Provides leadership by implementing short range plans and identifying goals and objectives to meet the plant's mission, and strategic plans
Ensure the company’s physical assets (building, equipment, inventory, etc.) are properly controlled, maintained, protected and utilized.
Educate department Supervisors and team members in identifying key performance improvement indicators, targeting opportunities for improvement, adopting best practice processes and successfully executing improvement initiatives.
Performs other job-related duties as required
Travel up to 25%
Must have three (5+) year experiences in logistics, two (3+) in a manager role or relevant field
Preferred BA degree or more than 7 years relevant experiences.
Strong SAP/ERP/WM/Master Data abilities strongly preferred. Experience with warehousing programs required
Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
An analytical mind with strong math skills
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Ability to effectively prioritize and delegate work
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Reliable and trustworthy
Bilingual is a plus
Able to work in multicultural environment
May be required to work additional hours outside of regularly scheduled business hours or weekend or holidays to meet its business needs
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Products and other applications
Experience operating WH machineries
