Position Description:
This role will have responsibility in one of largest key accounts.  The Quote Engineer will be responsible for developing quotations for the customer, keeping internal systems updated, reviewing customer requirement changes, and supporting the sales engineer and sales managers to keep the business moving forward. Interaction with the sales engineer and sales account managers will be a key aspect of the role.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
o       Drive the development of quotations and quotation changes, tracking and reporting of deliverables and milestones.
o       Support the sales engineer and account managers in coordinating with the customer local teams to drive purchase orders, change orders, invoices and reports.
o       Ability to take data in one database and run it through several workflows/tools and validation/error checks to be able to get the data into a format to be uploaded into another database.
o       Updating project management and reporting databases (OneVizion, SPMS) to reflect the current status of the quotes/PO’s and customer approvals.
o       Interacting with customer, account managers and sales engineers to ensure that tracking information is accurate.
o       Updating and maintaining of quote trackers and sales reports
o       Publish daily / weekly internal reporting to identify and monitor trending business risks and opportunities
o       Responsible for gathering, analysis and reporting of key project performance, in order to identify risks and opportunities
o       Collaborate across multiple teams to develop cohesive reporting capabilities across project execution
o       This role requires coordination between the sales, customer technical advocates, operations teams and customer organizations.

Background/Experience required:
o       Bachelor's Degree / HS degree
o       Strong technical skills in math and analysis
o       MS Office experience is required (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point)
o       Highly proficient in the use of Excel is important including pivot tables, reporting, charts and complex Excel functions (vlookups, index match, etc).
o       Experience with Alteryx workflows is preferred but not required
Necessary Skills and attributes:
o       This position requires good oral and written communication skills
o       Must be proficient in MS Office products including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
o       Attention to detail is important.
o       Effective organizational skills to handle multiple and competing requests at a given time
o       Good analytical skills to compile information into useful reports and presentations
o       Ability to achieve results within established time frames and requirements.
o       Ability to communicate with the customer and handle customer pressure
o       Ability to collaborate with internal team to manage deployment process changes and ensure they pose no significant downstream impacts to sales and invoicing teams
o       Proactive in following up with customer to secure approvals and orders. Possess ability to think like the customer and see business from their point of view.
o       Ability to understand high-level program concepts and project management lifecycle to apply to invoice forecasting and sales activity forecasts
o       Familiarity and experience with the high-level sales cycle (request, scope, quote, PO, change order, invoice)
o       Ability to problem solve, troubleshoot issues and think outside the box
o       Process Oriented. Important to be able to understand and implement a process.
