Job Description:
  • Perform network feature, Stress and Battery test Cases provided by the OEM Manager to validate the proper functionality of the Product and verify the Software capabilities of the product.
  • Analyze the failure logs from the device and search for the root cause of the problem and collaborate with the research and development team to provide a path to resolution.
  • Execute Test Cases to validate scenarios related to network registration, call processing, call mobility, battery scenarios, and stress test on the device.
  • Perform the stress test on the device and modem chipset in T-Mobile Robotics Lab to check the capacity of the battery and the amount of heat transfer due to convection process from the battery, and modem chipset. Keep tracking of the temperature of the battery and modem chipset. Analysis of the battery performance is done with the help of LabView software
  • Analyzing and reviewing test plan requirement documents, optimize and create strategic approaches to perform the testing based on specifications and standards.
  • Flash Software build, provision of the UE, provide initial condition, follow Test Procedure according to 3GPP and network operator provided Specs.
  • Perform LTE interoperability testing for various UE models such as mobile phones, smart watches and Tabs.
  • Execute automation testing to perform battery performance, stationary sanity and stress test with the help of Python scripts provided by Research and development engineers.
  • Submits a daily progress report of the newly released software for evaluation and progress of the project after a defect is resolved to ensure that the fix has not changed any other basic functionality of the device.
  • Should have hands on experience on Mobile Testing and Device Testing
  • Should be able to work with External Teams and lead the System Integration Test (SIT) track end to end, manage test execution, triage and assign defects, publish results and reports on a daily basis
  • Work with PM, BA, Architect, Onsite lead, stakeholders for Test Planning, Test Case Design (TCD), Test case Execution (TCE)
  • Work with Dev team for timely builds and smooth operations
Should have commendable communication and stakeholder management skills
