Job Title: Analyst, Global Logistics Operations

Job Type: Full-time

Work Location: Coppell, TX
(** local candidates only. Candidate is required to be onsite from Day 1 as they are essential. Initially they would be required to work onsite daily for training. After that there would be some flexibility to work remote, but general expectation is that they are able to come onsite.)

Education:
Undergrad in Business or Supply Chain Management

Years of Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years of directly related experience is required

Position Summary:
  • The position ensures the best in class execution for Samsung – Global Logistics operations
  • Responsible for the execution of daily Inbound Logistics operations & reporting
  • This role will ensure that shipments are delivered to internal customers without delays
  • This role will actively tracking Inbound Logistics shipments & work with 3PLs to manage exceptions
Common Essentials/Duties and Responsibilities:
 
  • Must have track record and ability to maintain positive team dynamics
  • Assist 3PL in the daily execution and management of Logistics operations activity
  • Track and trace shipments daily and proactively to avoid any delays
  • Support business departments on urgent shipments and new-launch models
  • Ensure quick and precise system execution for the delivery of Samsung products
  • Coordinate and execute special projects and additional services as requested
  • Support inter-department projects/activities as determined necessary
  • Work proactively with 3PL’s to ensure continuous support
  • Assist internal partners on critical shipments and non-standard requests
  • Follow processes in full compliance with all federal, state and local regulatory guidelines
    Complete all other duties as assigned

     
Background/Experience:
  • Minimum 1-2 years of directly related experience is required
  • Undergrad in Business or Supply Chain Management
  • Prior experience in Global Logistics operations a plus
  • High-Tech supply chain and/or logistics experience
  • Well versed analytical skills
  • Good social and team working skills
  • Proficient ability in working within Excel & Access

  • Experience working simultaneously with various cultures preferred
