Manager, Strategy and Planning (eCommerce Fulfillment)

We are looking for a self-motivated professional who operates with a strong sense of urgency. Someone who is a strategic and analytical thinker able to generate and share ideas while maintaining a keen eye for detail. Must be a team player who can contribute to a collaborative work environment and encourages creative thinking and innovation. Individual must be comfortable in flexing all communication styles and establishing positive interpersonal relationships
This position will focus on the development and streamlining of eCommerce strategic operations, costs and performance. Turning this dedicated focus and insight into tangible aids that will help the operations team make real-time and objective decisions. This position will identify improvement opportunities and communicate analysis results directly with department leaders to assist with business performance advancement. Will also independently led projects related to strategic growth, continuous improvements and increased profitability. This individual leverage analytical and time management skills to ensure that all requirements are accomplished within established timeframes.

Common Asks / Responsibilities of this position:
*Please note – These tasks will be performed across the end-to-end eCommerce fulfillment cycle (Inbound, Order Receipt, Pick/Pack, outbound parcel shipment and returns)
Lead cross-functional projects using data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities
ª Conduct Daily / Weekly / Monthly analysis/extraction, providing insights, turnaround plans, accountability, and monitoring of eCommerce operational performance
ª Build relationships with internal operational teams to understand their analytical and reporting needs for actionable insight into the business
ª Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and key operations and performance metrics
ª This individual will also be responsible for the consistency and integrity of data reported
ª Coordinating profit improvement initiatives
ª Development, implementation and continuous assessment of operational markers, helping to identify areas of concern and trends (negative/positive)
ª Tracking progress of initiatives, improvements to identify gaps, course corrections or validations of expected impacts
ª Improve performance develop presentations of analytic findings highlighting meaningful information for operational management and LPS leadership
ª Assist in coordinating cost savings and initiative impacts into the monthly / annual budgeting process
ª Lead the creation, articulation and interpretation of reporting insights to drive business outcomes that align with SEA’s business and growth objectives
ª Manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of Innovation. Including planning, organizing and monitoring all activities of the necessary support team(s), assisting in the prioritization of project activities and taking appropriate action to track, identify, mitigate and minimize risks to timelines and/or intended outcomes
ª Develop executive level presentations often using story-telling and visuals to provide well-rounded and compelling insights
ª Working cross functionally with business groups to identify value proposition / impact of business objectives
ª Develop, monitor, and improve data, tools and reports required for Senior Leadership, including, but not limited to, forecasting, planning, budgeting, and performance management processes used within Operations teams (i.e. business intelligence, data hygiene, KPIs/dashboards/reporting capabilities)
ª Provide ongoing operational support as needed
ª Budgets, Forecasts & Ad-Hoc Requests

Background, Experience and Skillsets desired for this role:
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or Analytics preferred
ª Master’s Degree / MBA is a plus
ª 6-8 years of directly related experience
ª Requires competency in customer focus, change & innovation, strategic thinking, relationship building & influencing, talent management, results focus and inspirational leadership
ª Strategic thinker with excellent business judgment and strong operational intuition within an eCommerce frame-work
ª Proficient in data analysis and visualization, with a track record of owning high quality analyses and presentations end-to-end
ª Have the ability and desire to work in a multi-national environment, with the understanding and commitment on what it takes to succeed
ª Have an exceptionally high level of curiosity, a drive for accuracy and taking part in the evolution of our business
ª Am comfortable with all kinds of data, and feel comfortable in all stages of data analysis
ª Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive actionable insights that facilitate cross-functional initiatives and business outcomes

ª Demonstrated expert-level experience in Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office products
ª Ability to communicate with and drive projects with senior-level operators and C-suite
ª Experience with business intelligence a plus.
Prior experience in eCommerce Operations and Management is required
ª Previous experience in High-Tech, Consumer Goods preferred.
Experience managing 3PL relationships at a strategic level preferred
ª Deep understanding of WMS is required
ª Prior experience with SAP is a plus
