1. LTE or 5G protocol experience (VoLTE, Carrier aggregation, Throughput, ENDC/NSA etc.)
2. UE/Handset test experience (QXDM/QCAT tools, Log basic analysis)

The main function of a Lab test engineer to understand requirements, test plans, execute and troubleshoot 4G/5G air interface and call processing technology test cases (Lab,IOT). The typical network engineer will be responsible for performing Lab IOT test execution & analysis of 4G and 5G protocols.
�Test Plan execution for smartphone devices in customer/3rd party Labs for conformance and IOT.
� Collection of Logs, Analysis if Logs, Troubleshooting of issues faced during the Lab/IOT for these smartphone/devices.
� Analyzing the customer requirements, converting then into system requirements and capturing of detail design for the development team.
� Aid in product & feature performance analysis, evaluation of new product & SW releases
� Responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting issues reported from customer labs, field sites and production network.
� Review and provide recommendations to improve RAN network performance by evaluating and trending key KPIs, performing trials and providing optimization guidelines.
� Provides technical support and troubleshooting for device issues faced during Lab/IOT.
� Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
� Basic ability to work independently and manage one�s time.
� Have a solid understanding of the end to end LTE/5G Network Architecture, Protocol Stack, Log analysis (QCOM QXDM/QCAT).
� Strong knowledge in 4G and 5G air interface and call processing technologies and network architecture specifically focused on Radio Access Network
� Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field required.
� 3-5 years experience required.
