Job Title: Window Supervisor   

Position Summary:

Technical lead will be responsible for leading and supporting Window team operations. Technical lead will provide guideline and SOP for member to follow on their day to day jobs. And also provides the necessary training to the team based on their specialty.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Performance of tasks as assigned by the Manager and other IT Management.
  • Following certified policies and procedures.
  • Creation and maintenance of system documentation standards.
  • Clearly articulates situations and opportunities to manager in both spoken and written form.
  • Timely troubleshooting of window team issues.
  • Administration of end-point protection technologies to ensure all systems are protected.
  • Maintaining Active Directory structure, DNS, DFS, Group Policy, DCHP administration.
  • Work with team to administer and provide 2nd level support for more than 4500 desktops, laptops, servers and printers to investigate and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Administration of System Center Configuration System Center.
  • Scripting with PowerShell to resolve issues or automate repetitive tasks.
  • Maintaining Windows File Servers shares and permissions.
  • Candidates will be part of a 24/7 support rotation.
 
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Window supervisor experience 5+ years
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Associate’s Degree Required
  • Scripting and Symantec experience
  • Performance of tasks as assigned by the Manager and other IT Management.
  • Following certified policies and procedures.
  • Creation and maintenance of system documentation standards.
  • Clearly articulates situations and opportunities to manager in both spoken and written form.
  • Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (Current Branch)
  • Application packaging and deployment
  • Operating System deployment and upgrades
  • Software Update Points – Endpoint patch management/deployment
  • Reporting Services – Creating and modifying SQL reports
  • Experience with WSUS server
  • Scripting/Automation experience with System Center Orchestration and PowerShell
  • Ability to create  new scripts/solutions based on business needs
  • Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DCHP administration and structure
  • Experience with IIS
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows File Server and SQL server clustering.
  • Experience with monitoring solutions (SolarWinds, PRTG)
  • Experience providing 24/7 support.
