Sourcing potential customers and maximizing the sales of our products
Job Duties:
Prepare and deliver product demonstrations and sales and technical presentations
Recommend improvements to customers, showing how changes will lower costs or increase productivity
Identify current and prospective customers’ requirements and deliver solutions
Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support
Provide answers to client questions about our product and other technical aspects of the product
Help in researching and developing new products
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies to know what changes may be on the horizon that will impact current and future sales
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer/Technical Sales (10+ years)
Proven track record selling in the power supply market to Tier 1 companies
Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives
Industry insider who understands current trends and anticipates change
Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner
Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience with power supplies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent presentation and creativity skills
Ability to work in a wide range of software programs that support our business (Microsoft Office, FileMaker, etc.)
Willingness to travel (will involve extensive traveling)
BA/BS degree or equivalent
