Job Title: CDU30 Site Walk Technician
Job Description:  Visit CDU30 Conversion Site Candidates, Validate Site Access information, Confirm access to site, update records including photographs and file upload.
Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned.  In this position, either directly or through others)
The responsibilities of the Site Walk Technician is to visit CDU.  Site Walk Technician will visit all customer cell site locations with purpose of validating Cell Site Access information provided by the customer. The Site Walk Technician will be required to take photographs of details related to site access including locks, keypads, lockboxes, gates, fences, elevators, rooftops and any other pertinent information required for subsequent field resources to gain access to the cell site equipment. They will attend meetings with appropriate departments, Points of Contact, customers and upper management as needed to confirm daily, weekly and monthly assignments as well as information exchange. Additional job skills, functions and requirements include
  • Keep detailed records of all sites visited including date, time, address and other location details
  • Ensure any documentation required access to the site is provided to subsequent field resources and coordinators for future reference.
  • Liaise with PMs to identify understand project requirements, scope and objectives
  • Make certain that clients’ needs are met as the project evolves
  • Update internal and customer databases and tools as needed for planning or actualization
  • Report any irregularities or missing information both internally and externally
  • Attend Daily/Weekly calls
  • 1-2 years of relevant industry experience (site access, tracking, coordination, etc)
  • Valid Driver’s license with clean driving record for the past 5 years
  • This position requires good oral and written communication skills

Physical/Mental Demands and Working Conditions (The position requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment)
  • Work is generally performed in a field environment work vehicle 90% of the time
  • Drive times may regularly be from 15 minutes to 4 hours at a time
  • In special circumstance, drive times may be as much as 8 hours
  • Climbing ladders, working on rooftops or in equipment rooms, inside cell site enclosures, will be a daily requirement.
  • Mobile tracking electronics, Android applications and specialized logistics tracking software may also be required
  • Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal less than 25% of work time
  • Interface with customer representatives for data validation or special information
  • Performs work under time schedules and stresses which are normally periodic or cyclical and including: time sensitive job stress, fatigue, unpaid over-time, intellectual challenge, constant technical data feedback, language barriers, and business management stress
  • Performs tasks with supervision from Managers and Senior Staff
  • Travel is expected within the assigned region as a job requirement
  • Travel outside o assigned region is limited, but could be up to 10% of the time
