Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in logistics coordination, particularly in the transportation sector.
  • Strong understanding of Laredo logistics operations and border crossing procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Gather Direct-Shipment (DS) and HUB Appointments (APPT) information for Laredo departing trailers/containers.
  • Track and oversee direct ship and Hub Operation from Laredo Transload facility. Confirm on-time departures from Laredo warehouses (W/H).
  • Control and coordinate Laredo departure schedules.
  • Track Over-The-Road (OTR) and rail container movements.
  • Monitor border crossing statuses and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Respond to Immediate Response Required situations effectively.
  • Validate IOD & POD and handle associated processes in daily process.
  • Primary focuses on the cost reduction and minimize the accessorial costs with efficient process changes and planning skills.
  • Analyze logistics data, identifying and predicting deviations from process, and making procedural changes to take advantage of increased opportunity for efficiency or correct inefficiencies within the logistics systems.
  • Work closely and coordinate measures with trans loading warehouse including: Transload capacity planning, KPI management, and bottle neck management
  • Leads the development of logistics business plans with the US logistics team, HQ, along with 3PL service providers.
  • Manage volume in and out of the trans loading center, planning resources based on production, inbound, and outbound.
